Your goal at the end of the conference is to have 12-14 months of planning complete
Go through each month and make sure for each item on the TO PLAN list
Make sure all service projects and activities have a lead scout in charge
Pick new people to be lead scout so they can learn. A scout is ready to be a lead scout as early as their 2nd year in the troop.
If you're planning an aquatics activity, put a swim test on the calendar about 4-6 weeks before that
Make sure you're not planning something for
When you're done, make a table like this:
Date | Activity | Lead Scout | Lead Scoutmaster | Outdoor Coordinator |
---|---|---|---|---|
January 19 | MLK Day Service Project Stream and Bike Trail Clean Up |
Johnny Scout | Mr. Smith | Ms. Johnson |
February 22-23 | Cold Weather Campout Manidokan Campsite |
Aidan Jones | Mr. Weber | Mr. Lloyd |
The outdoor coordinator and Lead Scoutmaster will be filled in later.
